Les Geckos leads canyoning trips from its private base in the Gorges du Loup, near Nice, Cannes and Grasse. Technical equipment is provided and groups are accompanied by state-qualified guides.
The Gorges du Loup canyon
The standard trip lasts around 3 hours, including more than 2 hours in the river. The route combines jumps, natural slides and abseiling; the more challenging obstacles can be bypassed.
What is the minimum age?
The canyon is suitable from age 8. Children under 12 benefit from a special price and closed shoes are compulsory.
Prices advertised in 2026
The standard price is €60 per person. It drops to €55 for under-12s and groups of eight or more. A private guide for up to eight people is advertised at €440.
Facilities at the base
Les Geckos provides private parking, changing rooms, toilets and a water point on site. A wetsuit, helmet, harness and safety lanyards are supplied.
Having a properly equipped base directly in the Gorges du Loup makes planning much simpler than meeting at an isolated roadside location.
