In Grasse, Studio des Fragrances Galimard turns an introduction to perfumery into a genuine composition workshop: everyone develops their own eau de parfum with guidance from the house's team. In 2026, the Studio celebrates its 30th anniversary, with more than 250,000 formulas created since 1996.
1 hr 45 min to create your perfume
The main perfume-making workshop lasts 1 hr 45 min. You develop your formula and leave with a personalised 100 ml Eau de Parfum. More in-depth options are also available, including a Signature workshop combining perfume with a matching diffuser, and longer private sessions.
From discovery to the perfumer's craft
Galimard also offers a visit to its factory-museum, focusing more on the house's history, raw materials and production stages. The Studio, by contrast, centres on practical skills: selecting, balancing and combining notes to create a personal accord.
The extra touch is this freedom to create: rather than leaving with a perfume selected from a shelf, you take home a formula developed during the session at a historic Grasse perfume house.
