The Centre Nautique Municipal Les Voiles de Lérins, in Mandelieu-La Napoule, is a sailing school certified as an École Française de Voile and open for sailing all year round. The baie de La Napoule offers opportunities to learn or sail between the îles de Lérins and the hills of the Estérel.
What can you do?
The centre offers courses, private lessons and equipment hire across different disciplines. Depending on age and ability, you can sail an Optimist, catamaran or windsurf board; paddleboards and sea kayaks are also available for hire.
From what age?
Supervised activities are available from age 6. During school holidays, courses run Monday to Friday, with groups adapted to participants' abilities. Adults are also welcome for lessons or ongoing courses.
What to know in 2026
The summer 2026 courses run from 29 June to 28 August. A teaching licence is issued during courses. The centre stays open all year round, with extended hours in July and August and Sunday closure in the low season.
