On the shores of Lac de Saint-Cassien, in Tanneron, Macao Plage combines a developed beach area with a restaurant in a leafy setting. Wooden facilities and the terrace look directly over the lake, whose reflections change throughout the day.
Summer food close to the water
The menu focuses on simple meals suited to a beach day: mixed salads, daily specials on the board, pan bagnat and desserts. The covered dining room also offers panoramic lake views.
A whole day around the lake
The site also offers sun loungers and opportunities for watersports. Visitors can therefore come primarily for the shores of Saint-Cassien, have lunch on site and continue their outing beside the water.
Check the season
Macao Plage operates on a seasonal schedule. For September–October 2026, the tourist office lists opening on Fridays and weekends until 31 October. Restaurant opening periods and available facilities may vary from season to season.
