In Cannes-La Bocca, plage Sud Aviation forms part of the Boccacabana area along boulevard du Midi. This public beach benefits from a refurbished promenade with a cycle path, sports facilities, showers, toilets, picnic tables and places to relax facing the Mediterranean.
Is swimming supervised?
The area is covered by the local lifeguard service, with a lifeguard station open from 1 July to 31 August, 11:00 to 19:00. Plage Sud Aviation is also among the Cannes beaches awarded the Blue Flag in 2026, a distinction linked in particular to water quality, safety and environmental management.
How do you get here?
The area can be reached by bus, bicycle via the cycle path, or car. Free parking is available nearby, and in season Cannes operates a shuttle linking the coast to outlying car parks.
An extra touch: the Boccacabana promenade lets you extend your swim with beach volleyball, an outdoor fitness session or a cycle ride along the coast.
