Who is behind the making of a book?
The Salon littéraire des 1001 métiers du livre in Fayence goes beyond book signings: here you meet the professionals who turn an idea into a printed book. Writers, illustrators, publishers, printers, fine bookbinders, engravers, illuminators and papermakers present their skills, with activities and workshops.
For its second edition, from 6 to 8 November 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00, the fair announces around fifty authors of novels, crime fiction, comics and children's books. School encounters on Friday, then a literary café, interviews and creative workshops at the weekend. BEHEM, Michel Saez and Elisabeth Corne are among the contributors.
What to know before visiting
Admission is free. Friday includes school encounters in particular; check which sessions are open to everyone and registration for Saturday and Sunday workshops. This is a different event from the Salon du Livre de Tourrettes, held in another commune on 28 November 2026.
