In Montauroux, GEODORA offers a perfume-making workshop in its laboratory on the family's Les Bergeries property, a few kilometres from Grasse. The experience lasts almost 2 hours and takes place in small groups of 4 to 6 participants.
What happens during the perfumer's workshop?
Guided by Gérard Gatti, you begin by smelling and comparing more than 30 natural essences. The workshop teaches you to recognise the main fragrance families and understand how a perfume is constructed: top, heart and base notes.
The session is more than a demonstration. Participants handle the ingredients, try different blends and personalise their own composition. The experience is available from 12 years of age.
The extra touch
Les Bergeries is also where the GEODORA perfume house creates its fragrances. The setting therefore connects the workshop with a craft genuinely practised on site, rather than a simple tourist activity. Provence and the region's aromatic plants are among the perfumer's stated sources of inspiration.
In 2026, the workshop is advertised from €95 per person. A particularly relevant experience for understanding the connection between the Pays de Fayence, nearby Grasse and perfume-making traditions.
