In Montauroux, Swin’Cool Cap’Cool offers trips through the Var countryside in a Swincar, a small articulated electric off-road vehicle, available with one or two seats. The outing combines roads, tracks and more technical sections under the guidance of a qualified instructor.
What is a Swincar outing like?
After a briefing and introduction to the vehicle, the group sets off on a route adapted to the day's conditions. The introductory option lasts 1 hour; a 2-hour outing takes you further along the tracks and across changes in elevation. An approximately five-hour full-day option is also available.
The Swincar is electric and quiet, which makes the experience noticeably different from riding a petrol-powered quad bike. A passenger can ride in a two-seater from 6 years old.
A genuinely accessible activity
One of Swin’Cool's distinguishing features is that some vehicles are adapted for people with reduced mobility. Swin'Cool also offers outings for groups of 6 to 10 people.
2026 prices
The one-hour outing is advertised from €70 per vehicle, and the two-hour outing from €110. Driving requires a category B driving licence or a BSR moped certificate, depending on age and package.
It is a rather unusual way to explore the tracks around Montauroux without making the outing solely about driving a motorised vehicle.
