On the road to Bargemon in Seillans, Le Maquis is a village café-bar and restaurant overlooking the Provençal countryside. Run by Armelle, it serves home-made dishes from a chalkboard menu, indoors and on a shaded terrace with views of the hills towards Bargemon.
A lunchtime stop
Le Maquis opens early for coffee and breakfast, then serves cooked dishes for lunch. It is a local brasserie, where recipes change rather than following a fixed menu.
Away from the bustle of the narrow streets
From the terrace, the rural scenery complements a visit to the hilltop village of Seillans and its artists' studios. It is an option for lunch before heading towards Bargemon or after a walk in the Pays de Fayence.
Seasonal opening hours
For 2026, the tourist office lists shorter hours from March to June and from mid-September to early December, mainly Tuesday to Saturday until 15:00. Additional evening services may be available in summer. A winter closure is mentioned: check current opening hours before travelling.
