On place Chorus in Cran-Gevrier, La Turbine sciences is Annecy's venue for discovering science through handling, experimenting and discussion. It programmes exhibitions, workshops, meetings and talks designed to make sometimes complex subjects accessible to the public and families.
What can you do in 2026-2027?
The current season notably features Mathissime, presented from 11 September 2026 to 16 May 2027. The exhibition approaches mathematics through games and experiments: a good family option when you want more than a museum to view passively.
More than an exhibition
The programme changes over the months with science workshops, talks and major events such as Fête de la science and Nuit des chercheurs. This lively dimension distinguishes La Turbine: you can return and not have exactly the same visit.
Good to know before you visit
La Turbine sciences shares the Place Chorus site with a library and cinema. Some exhibitions and workshops require booking, particularly during events or school holidays: check the day's programme to choose the most suitable time and format.
