In Le Muy, on the road to Sainte-Maxime, Château Les Preyres introduces its organic AOP Côtes de Provence wines in a tasting room overlooking an ageing room containing more than 35 amphorae. The estate also produces its Massa_Lia range, aged in amphorae in a nod to remains of an ancient Gallo-Roman winery found on the estate's land.
Which tastings should you choose?
In 2026, a guided tasting of 4 to 5 wines lasts approximately 30 minutes and starts at €10 per person. For a longer experience, pairings with charcuterie, cheeses or homemade pastries are available by reservation.
A more playful Atelier des Sens
The Atelier des Sens lasts 1 hr 30 min and costs €40 per person. The idea is to identify 12 aromas, then recognise 4 wines blind through a sensory quiz, individually or in teams. A glass of wine is served at the end of the workshop.
Before you visit
The tasting room is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. A few steps away, La Table du Château serves Provençal bistro-style cuisine designed to complement the estate's wines.
What distinguishes Les Preyres is its emphasis on ageing wine in amphorae: the room visible from the tasting area and the sensory workshops provide a tangible theme throughout the discovery of the estate's wines.
