Why visit the Fête du Mimosa de Tanneron?
When the massif du Tanneron turns yellow, the village celebrates its emblematic flower with a full day of Provençal festivities. A flower parade, market, mimosa growers, procession and entertainment offer a different way to discover this fragrant area beyond a simple walk.
The next announced edition will take place on Sunday 31 January 2027, from 09:00 to 17:00. The market brings the village to life from the morning; the parade of flower-covered floats and entertainment take place in the afternoon. Admission to the festival is free.
What to know before visiting
Traffic in the village is strictly regulated during the festival, with outlying car parks, pedestrian routes and shuttle buses depending on the access route. The tourist office advises planning your parking ahead and bringing cash: there is no cash machine in the commune. The festival may be cancelled in bad weather; check that it is going ahead before setting off.
